ফতোয়া

ফাতাবীরের বহুবচন হল ফতোয়া।এটি একবচন হিসেবে ফুতয়া রুপে ব্যবহৃত হয়।ফকীহ কর্তৃক প্রদত্ত অভিমত হল ফতোয়া।কেউ কেউ বলেছেন এটি একটি বিশুদ্ব শব্দ।

আবার কেউ বলেছেন তা আরবী আল-ফুতওয়া থেকে এসেছে যার অর্থ হল অনুগ্রহ,বাদন্যতা,দানশীলতা,মনুষত্ব ঈ শক্তি প্রদর্শন।
